I heard about Livejournal from my friend of 10+ years, Kelly (aka nancydrewmfa). I grew up in Warner Robins, went to college in Houston (I studied linguistics and German, BA, whatever that's worth), and came back to GA (Athens) for an ill-fated attempt at law school (I quit after the first semester). After working in Athens as a CSR for Haband (they sell ugly clothes to old people) and as a copy editor, I moved to TN with the man who would become my baby's (Anja, 2) daddy, Travis. I hated living in Bristol, TN (no offense to those from the Tri-Cities area).
Anja was born in that godforsaken place. That summer, we moved in with my folks in Bonaire, where I started taking classes to prepare for nursing school, but it was not to be.
Plagued by innumerable dramas and stresses, Travis, Anja, and I moved out of there last year and got an apartment in Warner Robins. That did not work out very well. We then moved to Eastover, South Carolina, in summer of 2005 and stayed in a trailer out there (owned by Travis's stepdad) for ANOTHER year until my friends Rebecca and April (they appear sometimes as biancasprigg) came and extracted me from a very unsavory living situation (ie, fights with Travis).
Now I'm back in Middle Georgia and in nursing school this time at Middle Georgia College in Cochran. A move in the future might be likely, but this time I'll stay where my friends are.

update: looks like i'll be here for a while. am currently in nursing school at middle ga college. still estranged from baby daddy. not an end in sight, hmmm. there never is, is there?
